About Me

Rena Sasaki is a Ph.D. student at Johns Hopkins SAIS and a fellow of the Pacific Forum’s Next Generation Young Leaders Program. Sasaki was a senior associate at the global management consulting firm Strategy& and has more than five years of experience engaging in defense and security projects with Japan’s Ministry of Defense and its Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Agency and the general defense industry. Sasaki holds a master’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
